An exciting Church Year of Christ-honoring music is being rehearsed and presented each week by the team at Westmont Christian Church for all worshipers attending our services. The fundmental goal of our Music Ministry is to honor and glorify our Holy God!
Forms of musical worship include singing, playing of musical instruments of all types including handbells and hand chimes, using the spoken word and drama, visual arts, dance, and so much more. An established team of leaders meet each week on various days to prepare for worship services and seasonal events. Their experience levels range from ‘beginner’ to ‘seasoned,’ and all are welcome!
The beautiful variety of God’s children provides a healthy team of musicians who move in the same direction to achieve a common goal. As a matter of fact, this dynamic of ‘younger and older’ leaders is the backbone of our entire church!
As our musical teams prepare for worship each week, consider how you will serve our Lord through the Music Ministry at WCC. Several established groups exist to provide entry ways into serving. Once you are there, other avenues of musical opportunities open that assist in creating a well-balanced and healthy Music Ministry.
Plan to join us this Church Year as we combine our God-given talents and resources to honor Him! Music Ministry opportunities include but are not limited to:
