Leader: We gather here tonight,
All: as Christ gathered with His disciples in an upper room.
Leader: We share a meal here tonight,
All: as Christ shared a meal as a sign of His great love.
Leader: We serve one another here tonight,
All: as Christ washed the disciples’ feet and showed us how to serve.
Leader: We are all welcome here tonight,
All: as Christ welcomes each person to the table.
