Praise

At Westmont, our hope and prayer is that each and every person that gathers with us on Sunday morning would experience the grace, mercy, and love of the presence of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. There are many reasons why Christians gather each week to worship together as the body of Christ. Whatever your reason for seeking Christ this week, we welcome you to experience Him in the midst of this family of Christ.

Westmont offers Sunday School classes for all ages at 9:30 am, followed by a brief time to get to know someone new or grow deeper in an already developed relationship. We offer donuts and coffee at our coffee bar in the atrium. Our worship service begins at 10:40 am in our sanctuary.

Our pastor has fittingly described our worship style as “relaxed.” You are invited to join us just as you are. You will encounter folks at Westmont who wear suits and ties regularly and folks who come more casually in jeans. All are welcomed in the house of the Lord.

If you have children with you when you visit, please know that they are as welcomed at Westmont as any of us. Jesus commands us to let the little children come to him. We offer Sunday School classes for children of all ages and have a nursery with three very talented and qualified nursery attendants on staff. The safety and security of your child is of utmost importance to us at Westmont, we ask that you sign out a pager when you drop your child off in case our nursery workers need to contact you. We also offer Jr. Worship for children 4 yrs. old to 4th grade during the 10:40 worship service. Your child/children are more than welcomed to join Jr. Worship following the prayer after our offertory.

At Westmont, we encourage families to worship in whatever ways feel most comfortable to them. If you would be more comfortable with your child/children joining you in worship, they are more than welcomed to stay. We encourage parents with children to sit closer to the front so they can better see what’s going on and to talk with your child about the different parts of the worship service. We promise your children will not bother the work of the Holy Spirit in our midst.

Westmont is a truly unique family of God. We have become home to a vast diversity of believers. Christians who grew up in various forms and denominations call Westmont “home,” as well as some who didn’t come to the faith until later in their life. Each of us are coming to Christ looking and searching for something. At Westmont, we believe God will provide the things we each need. Through worship, we strive to provide an atmosphere through our worship service that allows the Holy Spirit to reveal to us what each of our souls are truly looking for.
