Our vision is to transform individual lives through the message of the Gosepl and to heal the woudned heart, restore the broken heart, and bring hope to the hopeless. This, in return, will build healthier communities and stronger churches.
Our goal is to bring souls to Christ through teaching the Word, encouragement, and practical assistance.
Who We Are
Fahamu and Jonni met in Rwanda while serving with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). They believe the Lord has called them to serve the people of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) which they have been doing since their marriage in 2013. Their ministry is located in the Eastern part of the DRC near lake Tanganyika, bordering Burundi in Uvira and the surrounding villages.
Fahamu was born in the DRC to parents who were assisting with Bible translation in their mother tongue, a local dialect. He has a heart for Godly leadership trainings, and for people in need. Fahamu believes that hope for the country begins first with strong Christian leadership in the local church, which will lead to positive change for the community, creating an environment of helping one another, making a big change in the community.
Jonni was born in Oregon in the United States of America. She has a heart for education and believes in the importance of educating children. With Jonni and Fahamu's leadership, over 50 preschools have been opened and run by their ministry.

After 10 years of marriage, the ministry that Fahamu and Jonni started has expanded to a sewing school, leadership training, sports ministry, widows ministry, village ministry, discipleship training school, children’s ministry, and a feeding program. The feeding program has fed over 395 children in one day and these numbers are increasing every week. The ministry has also developed leaders to help run these ministries. The ultimate goal of the ministry is to have Godly leaders who develop Biblical qualifications of following Christ, in hopes that they can spread out and move throughout the Democratic Republic of Congo, and change the country.
